Gossip Girl and her lessons on life

XOXO, Gossip Girl

Yes I know you won't believe this, but I am a huge fan of the TV Series Gossip Girl. Ok this is actually old news to those who have been reading my blog. (Please refer to this post on my take on Gossip Girl back in my Livejournal days). At that point of time I was a huge Chuck and Blair fan, but for now, I do not see much progression. I have heard reviews that the TV series ain't the same as the book. Well, who cares! I do not even read books, thus the willingness to receive the TV Series with an open heart and open mind!

Now, this episode is just packed with drama please. But after watching this episode, I really felt bad about screaming at my parents. After all, they were just being protective and all. I really understood where they were coming from, it's just that sometimes I feel that no one ever listens to a word I say. It seems as though I'm screaming and talking to the wall most of the time. But in any case, I'm sorry daddy and mummy for being a mother fucking whore. : (

Ok, sorry for side tracking, but if you are really interested and wanna get a sneak preview of what gossip girl is really all about, click here. This episode really got me thinking about several things...

Which of these situations is the most depressing?
  1. Knowing your Son is Gay and hearing it from someone else
  2. Knowing you can never be with the man/woman you love because you just cant..
  3. Knowing you can't tell your partner something just because you want to protect him/her
  4. Knowing your daughter is growing up, and she's drifting away from you
  5. Knowing your partner is hiding something from you
  6. Watching your partner fall into someone's trap, and you can't do anything about it
  7. Watching someone destroy your life...gradually
  8. Watching your sister's boyfriend kissing another boy
  9. Watching the man/woman you love, dress up for their own wedding
  10. Watching your best friend cry her heart out, and she's can't say why she's crying?
I realized that all these situations, just evoke a certain kind of emotion out of a person.
And that emotion, is helplessness.

Thanks Gossip Girl, for the bedtime moral story. :)
XOXO, Jillian.
